Howdy guys! I’m super excited because today I finally get to show you the gorgeous cover for Book 2 in the Girlfriends of Gotham series from Swoon Romance!
The first book, Men and Martinis, saw Candace Kanie looking in all the wrong places for love, believing she could strongarm it into her life the way she did everything else. And we met Natalie Pepper, who was torn between the man she loves and her job.
Book 2 focuses on Natalie and CJ again, but we also get to follow crazy Lulu’s love life. Here’s the blurb:
Natalie Pepper thinks she can just be friends with CJ, the man of her dreams. But after seeing him every day at work – and after he lays it all on the line – it becomes pretty clear that something’s gotta give. She’d admit to herself, and to him, that all she really wants is him…if she wasn’t so afraid of losing the best job she’s ever had (and the life it has made possible).
At least she’s got her friends to distract her. Lulu Rossi is an unorthodox and unpredictable spitfire of a girl who has a habit of saying whatever’s on her mind. And while that attribute entertains friends and intrigues her new boyfriend, Andrew, it might be the one thing that stops their relationship from moving forward. Lulu has unintentionally entered the world of Upper East Side royalty, as her ER doctor boyfriend turns out to be the pedigreed heir to an old money fortune – one that is watched over by his manipulative and exceedingly judgmental mother, Elizabeth “Tippy” Barton.
Natalie’s insane supervisor worsens the situation at work when her own man troubles result in a new “no fraternization” policy, and CJ finally gives up and begins to look for other opportunities. Natalie is forced to decide what is important to her for once and for all. Will it be CJ or her job?
Lulu must prove her worth to Andrew’s family – or make him see that the only person whose opinion really matters is his.
So finally, check it out! Here’s the cover of Highballs in the Hamptons, which will be out in late September! Click the cover to add it on Goodreads!
Beyond Redemption – the next installment in the Wine Country Romance Series – launches on Tuesday! I’m so excited to share the cover with you today… But first, here’s a bit about the novella:
This racy Wine Country novella takes readers back to Redemption Road winery, where Audrey and Tyson are continuing the paths they discovered in Redemption Red.
This book focuses on Rebecca and Ray… And while Rebecca has made peace with her family and returned home to help build the winery into a wine country destination, she is still struggling with ghosts that threaten to destroy her happiness.
When someone shows up from the family’s past, everyone must face the truths that time can hide and come to terms with new realities…
This novella contains mature situations and is not appropriate for readers younger than 17.
And here’s the gorgeous cover, designed by the amazing Carrie at Cheeky Covers — she has done all the wine country books, and I love them!
Add the book on Goodreads today, and pick it up at Amazon on Tuesday!
I’m excited to announce that the next installment in the Wine Country Romance Series — Beyond Redemption — will release on Tuesday, June 24th!
Beyond Redemption is a novella that takes readers back to Redemption Road Winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. It’s a hot, sexy and sweet extension of Audrey and Tyson’s story, focused on Rebecca and Ray.

I’m so excited to be doing my first official book signing this month at Book Expo America! I’m very flattered that my publisher, Swoon Romance, thought readers would be excited enough about my Girlfriends of Gotham series to come out and see me. Of course there is always the chance that I’ll be sitting at the table, pen poised, quietly waiting… for an hour… and then I’ll go home.
In an effort to ensure that doesn’t happen, I’ve devised a way to entice people to my table… You know, a reason beyond my fresh breath and sparkling personality… A GIFT basket that SOMEONE will win!
What’s in it, you ask? Well, let me tell you…
- There’s a fancy hand-painted Lolita martini glass…
- A pair of sterling earrings that look like little red wine glasses
- A set of Ann Taintor coasters
- A cute desk sign that says “It’s okay to have too much fun”
- A set of designer stationery and matching pen
- A cute pink tin of “flirt” gum
- A fun set of cocktail napkins that says “I’d rather drink my martini than put on my bikini”
Fun, right? If you want to win it, you need to drop by and see me at the Swoon booth (PDZ638) on Friday, May 30 at 2pm!
Check out the goods:
ADAGIO went live this week! If you need me, I’ll be rocking over here in the corner, hoping for approval. 🙂
Go grab it!
I never win anything. Well, I did actually win a couple gift cards at my company’s holiday party this year… but aside from that…
But I won a raffle recently! It was hosted by the Combined Book Exhibit, and they took my book — Redemption Red — and hosted it in their booth at last weekend’s American Library Association show in Philadelphia! They also hosted me on their blog… check it out!
Have you gotten a chance to read MEN AND MARTINIS yet? I hope the answer is yes. I’m so excited about this book… it tickles me to watch the reviews creeping in. Here are a couple lines from recent reviews that I love:
I could not stop giggling out loud at this book. Between the totally excellent 90’s dotcom party setting and the strong personalities of the ‘girlfriends’, it was impossible to put down.
The plot is more compelling than most in this genre, and the humor quite entertaining. I am convinced that if you read this book you will want more from this author.
Stewart nailed life in late 90’s NYC dot com era. If you lived through it, or are just curious, you must read this book.
Great character development and easy read.
It’s a strange experience – reading the reactions of other people to something you tend and grow and nurture and then send out into the world. Kind of like getting a phone call from my son’s teacher about something nasty he did at school. Yesterday. So maybe the purpose of this entire post is to try to celebrate something that I put out there doing well in the face of anticipating a call from the vice principal today about something ELSE that I’ve put out there doing things that are NOT SO NICE. I’ve warned him that the elf is watching… but this time of year is so tough for the little guys. So much excitement!
Wish me luck on that call… and let me know your thoughts on MEN AND MARTINIS! I’m about a quarter of the way through the sequel, and hope the publisher will want to release books two and three in 2014! If you haven’t gotten yours yet, pick it up at Amazon, B&N or Kobo!
